The brief
Creative Adult is a podcast and platform celebrating the honest, sometimes chaotic journey of creativity. It needed an identity bold and youthful enough to speak to artists, designers and makers — expressive, but consistent enough to be instantly recognisable in a crowded feed.
The system
I built the full brand system: logo, colour palette, typography, podcast covers and social media templates. Working iteratively in Figma and Illustrator, I refined layouts and tested colour directions until every element felt expressive but cohesive — a system the show could keep posting from without design help every week.
For launch, I designed motion graphics in After Effects for the podcast’s video intros and social content, so the brand moved the way it sounded.
The result
After launch, the consistent visual identity built a recognisable presence across Spotify and Instagram — increasing engagement by over 30%. Exactly the outcome a social kit is for: a feed that looks like one brand, posted quickly, that people engage with more.
