Soak & Sleep

Two years in-house at a British homeware brand — designing the campaigns, social and motion that carry the brand, and helping its identity survive a full replatform.

The brand

Soak & Sleep sells bedding, linen and bath products to both consumers and wholesale buyers — a classic homeware brand where the product photography, the campaigns and the feed are the shop window. Every season needs a story, and every channel needs to tell it the same way.

What I did

As the designer for digital and print marketing, I designed the seasonal campaigns, promotional banners and email marketing assets, and produced rich imagery for e-commerce and print. I created illustrations and icons, edited and retouched product photography, and curated visuals so each campaign told one coherent story across web, email and social.

When the business migrated from Magento to Shopify, I worked on keeping the brand visually intact through the move — then built campaign pages on Shopify directly, using HTML and CSS to sharpen layout, hierarchy and visual engagement.

Before → after

The site’s own evolution over those two years is the clearest record of the work. Captures below are from the Wayback Machine and the live site.

The email system

The same arc played out in email. Early-2024 sends led with the offer — discount banner up top, product-and-price modules underneath. By 2026 every send opens with an editorial concept — star-sign colour palettes, summer pairings — with the offer folded into the story, and is assembled from a shared masthead, nav and modular footer rather than designed from scratch each week.

The original work — coming soon

Campaign artwork, social sets and motion pieces from the brand archive are being added — placeholders until the material lands in /assets/soak-and-sleep/old and /new.

What it delivered

Two years of consistent, polished campaigns that strengthened brand presence and engagement across every channel — and a replatformed site that still looked and felt like Soak & Sleep on day one. Specific campaign metrics are being gathered from the archive. [Damola to confirm figures]
